This course has written for those amongst you who are looking to become specifically a wedding florist and also for experienced and established florists who are looking to refresh their skills and reinvigorate their repertoire . For this course we look at both modern and classic techniques and styles for creating wedding party flowers. Over the past 10 years, the world of weddings has changed almost beyond recognition with wedding style now following fashion in the same way as high street looks and interior trends. Be at the forefront of this new breed of fashion and design led florists by enrolling on this course. For this course, you should have some knowledge of basic florist techniques (see our Introduction to Floristry course). This is a two-day course that really digs deep into how to make the very best wedding party flowers that will delight your brides and clients.

This course will teach you the following:

  • How to create a classic hand-tied bouquet

  • How to create a modern, freeform hand-tied using an armature

  • How to create a classic wired cascade bouquet

  • How to create a classic wired bouquet in a modern, asymmetrical style

  • How to create a number of style of hair flowers

  • How to create both wired and non-wired buttonholes and corsages

  • How to create designs suitable for a young flower girl
